Weekend Getaways – Kampot

For our last weekend in Otres, we decided to to rent two scooters and bike the 2-hour journey to Kampot, a scenic riverside town known for its French architecture and laid back vibe. While the trip itself was very scenic and relaxing, what made it all the more memorable was a totally unplanned run-in with Martin – a friend from our early Bangalore days! We hadn’t seen him in two years, when he had left Bangalore to return to Germany, so it was quite a surprise when he pulled up in front of our moving bikes in the middle of a busy road yelling our names!
